Bringing together international artist residency programs, black box theatre, gallery, and rehearsal and creation spaces, the center supports actors, directors, playwrights, musicians, dancers, performers, and interdisciplinary artists across the full development of their practice and projects.

Casa Hechale is conceived as an integrated environment in which artists can live, research, train, rehearse, experiment, and present work.

By placing artistic development and public encounter under one roof, the center creates sustainable connections between artists, audiences, the surrounding neighborhood, and the wider city.
